Application/Sales Representative EIMEA CMT

Overall purpose for the position:

Responsible for pre-sale application and technical support for a specific segment of the CMT portfolio.

Responsible for own sales territory, with quota.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering application and technical support requests from customers
  • Answering for own sales territory
  • Hardware & Software specialists/experts
  • Knowing the customers application (subject matter experts)
  • Experts in setting up Demos and helping the customer success.
  • Internal training
  • Marketing liaison
  • R&D and Operations support (testing, release etc.)
  • Bring credibility to the sales process

 

Typical tasks to do:

  • Supporting customer base in technical / application questions
  • Attending trade shows
  • Technically supporting distribution and customers (part of sale)
  • Training or installation at customer labs (paid) remotely or on-site

 

Key relationships:

Internal: Sales, Distributors / R&D / Customer Service / Manufacturing External: Customer base

 

Necessary skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Very good skills English
  • Team player with good organizational skills and a precise working style

 

Necessary personal qualifications & competences required:

  • Strong scientific and/or product application knowledge as well as an understanding of basic technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication, customer relations, and customer service skills are essential
  • Ability to address, interpret, and communicate scientific value and findings to internal and external audiences
  • Willingness to travel internationally and engage key stakeholders as needed
