Society of General Physiologists (SGP) Annual Meeting

This years' annual conference of the Society of General Physiologists (SGP), which is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to cutting-edge research in physiology, will be held at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, on September 5th-9th, 2012. This conference, entitled "Integrative Membrane Physiology in the Post-Genome Era", is focused on recent discoveries in genomics, proteomics, stem cell technology, X-ray crystallography, and drug discovery that will shape the field of membrane transport.
The meeting will provide a multidisciplinary platform for presentation of the most recent developments in membrane transport. (genomics and ion channelopathies, genetic model organisms, ion channel structure and complexes, and drug discovery). SGP meetings are intimate gatherings of 125-225 people, which are ideally formatted to promote lively exchange of new ideas and research findings.
